I can successfully print from my laptop. I can't scan, copy or turn off the printer. I turn it off by unplugging it from the wall. The buttons do not respond. The display stays stuck on options to scan copy(BW) and Copy(color). Interestingly, I went to Best Buy where I bought it and they had no problem. They were able to copy, print an alignment page and turn the printer off. This printer does have wireless capabilities. Could the printer be interfered with by signals? I have no other printers in the house.

Bypassing the print cartridge alignment
It is possible to bypass the alignment page and use the information from the last successful alignment. Print quality may not be as good, but the product will operate. The table below describes how to bypass the cartridge alignment.
Try either one of these:
Press and hold the Enter button, and then press SetuporPress and hold the Setup button, and then press Options (or Copy Options ).

I suggest you do a full system reset on the printer and see if that fixes anything. Please do the following. Come back and check with me if it doesn't work.
Performing a semi-full reset of the All-in-One
Use the Power button to turn on the product.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
Press and hold the # button and the 6 button.
While holding the buttons down, plug the power cord into the back of the product.
Continue to hold the buttons down until the control panel display goes blank.
Release the buttons, and then use the Power button to turn on the product. The reset information appears on the control panel display.
turn on/off, unplug, plug in, should reset configs. go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer/scanner/copy. check settings. if all else fails, select printer reset button in settings page. lastly, go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above. hope this helps and good luck
turn off computer. turn on - does a test page print? You need to unplug the USB cable from the printer and put the test page on the scanner - push scan. This should scan the page. Turn off computer, hook USB back up. Try to scan whatever you are scanning. Hope that helps!
first of all try to scan something from your computer if scan is fine then
open solution center and then go to solution center and click on settings
after that click on printer tool box click clean print heads/cartridges
after cleaning align then now try to copy
if still you have a problem then
Perform a reset of the HP All-in-One
Press the On button and turn off the HP All-in-One.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the HP All-in-One.
Wait for 20 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the HP All-in-One.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet.
Turn on the HP All-in-One by pressing the On button.
Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.
The best Solution for this would be goto Start click on Run type in Services.MSC and click ok now on that window u will see an option saying print Spooler just restart that by right clicking on it......
now go to control panel and go to the Printers Folder......
Right click on the Printer Icon and click on Properties......
Now click on Advanced and then go to Print Processor.......
It will be by default on Lexmark LEMF change it to Lexmark NTEMF 1.008......
Click on Apply click ok......
Restart your Computer and try to use it it should work......
