Cant broadcast webcam in video chat room sites

I'm having a problem when usingwebcam in video chat room sites like shockrooms or CamToMe. When it tries to access the camera, adobe flah player settings will appear to requst for access. However,i cant seem to click on the option ''allow'' or ''deny'' or any other options on the screen. When i right click to go to settings, its the same thing. The chatbox is still running (i can see people contiuing on chating) so i assume the screen is not fully hang only the small box ofthe adobe flash player settings.

How do I use the camera? Can I take photos and post them online?

The camera on the C7 series is a webcam, and it is located facing the computer operator above the center of the display screen. It is designed for video chatting, not taking pictures. First of all, it is difficult to take pictures of anything besides you at the keyboard and the room behind you with this configuration. In addition, the resolution of the webcam is not very high, so pictures are not usually the quality you might want to share. To get still photos, you need to use an app that provides for 'capture'. These are usually video chat apps like Skype that permit you to click on a button and make a webcam capture from the video screen while you are chatting with someone. Look at the installed apps and try to find the video chat app that you have installed. Look through the help for that app to see how to do a webcam capture. Check the Chrome store for webcam apps also.

Bad camera view

Step 1:
Whether your holding a video business conference, having a personal video chat with a friend or recording video with your laptop webcam, image clarity plays a huge factor in the quality of the video. There are a number of factors that contribute to the image quality, including available lighting and screen resolution settings.
Adjust your webcam settings, such as brightness contrast, hue and saturation to accommodate the lighting in the room. In order to access your webcam settings, click on "Start" and open the "Control Panel." Choose "Hardware" and then choose your internal webcam from the hardware menu. Select the "Properties" tab to open the setting controls and slide each bar until you achieve the ideal visual settings for your broadcast. Increase the available lighting behind you when conducting a webcam chat, but do not increase the lighting close to the webcam. A lack of back lighting not only creates a darker image projection, but can cause graininess. Too much light close to the webcam can blanch the image, making it difficult to see. Adjust your screen resolution. When the image quality is blurred and distorted during a webcam broadcast, lowering your resolution can sharpen the image projection. To lower your resolution, right-click on your desktop and click "Properties." Choose "Screen Resolution," from the available prompts. Lower the screen resolution one step below where it is currently set and test the image quality. If it needs further sharpening, repeat the process until you achieve the desired clarity. Adjust settings in the video chat program you are using. For example, if you are using Skype, select "Tools" and click on the "Video" icon in the left toolbar. Select "Webcam Settings" and adjust your visual and camera function settings, such as the hue and saturation, as well as lighting compensation. Test your bandwidth settings. If the traffic on your network is high, and multiple users are sharing the same Internet connection, it can affect your bandwidth and lower the quality of your video projection. In order to conduct a quality video session, you should have minimum bandwidth connection of 128 kbps. To check your bandwidth, visit an online test site like SpeedTest and run a bandwidth check. Dust off the lens to free dust particles with an air can. Dust particles can cloud the clarity, but you don't want to wipe them away with your fingers or a rough cloth. Blasting the lens with a burst of canned air will blow away debris and help improve picture clarity.

My web cam shows sort of a blurry picture

Whether your holding a video business conference, having a personal video chat with a friend or recording video with your laptop webcam, image clarity plays a huge factor in the quality of the video.

There are a number of factors that contribute to the image quality, including available lighting and screen resolution settings.

Adjust your webcam settings, such as brightness contrast, hue and saturation to accommodate the lighting in the room. In order to access your webcam settings, click on "Start" and open the "Control Panel."

Choose "Hardware" and then choose your internal webcam from the hardware menu.

Webcams come in a wide array of styles and designs, from the very simple to the elite, but they all have one thing in common:

They can be adjusted to match your mood at the moment and creative desires.

Open your web cam in a chat program, such as Skype.

Look for a link called "Preferences," where you will find webcam options you can adjust.

Choose the "Camera Settings" option and another window will open, labeled "Properties." There are more options here that can be adjusted.

Change a setting, such as brightness, by clicking on the slider mechanism with your pointer and dragging it.

These mechanisms are usually pretty sensitive, so be cautious when moving the settings.

Make sure that the image on your webcam is clear and in focus.

Hope this helps

Obi cam wont work in messenger

If you see a black screen when broadcasting your webcam:
There may not be enough light in the room. If so, illuminate the room appropriately.
Your camera may not be functioning properly. Try your camera with the manufacturer's software.
The correct camera may not be selected by Yahoo! Messenger. To change your camera source:
1. Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Start My Webcam."
2. Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences."
3. Click the "Webcam" category.
4. Click the "Camera Source" button.
5. Click the pull-down menu and select the desired camera.
6. Click the "OK" button.
If you see a black screen when viewing a friend's webcam:
Check the status message at the bottom of your viewer window. If it says "Stopped," the person broadcasting has stopped broadcasting images. Ask the person to resume broadcasting and try viewing again.
If the person is in fact broadcasting and you still see a black screen in your viewer, ask them to check their camera and take the webcam compatibility test.
