Question about SaniServ 401 20 Quart Ice Cream Maker
I have a 20qt sani serve ice cream machine . The machine won't come on when you turn the switch on. you can push the contacts in and it will do fine until you release the contacts. what could be the problem?
Check and see if all of the wires are on the freeze/cleanout switch. make sure the switch is in the freeze position. There is also a torque switch in back of the unit where the belt is,the belt tensioner engages and disengages this switch to control the viscosity of the mix in the barrel.check to make sure the metal arm of the switch hasnt been bent so far that it will not move, and that it does not have mix in it. Also check the voltage to the contactor coil. if you have correct voltage at the coil, then it is a bad contactor.
