Question about RCA 27F530T 27" TV
My tv all of sudden started doing channel searches by itself. During this, it started shutting off and on. Then, the tv may work for a couple hours before it started the process again of searching for channels, then shutting off and on. Nothing liquid was spilled near it and I am hopefully assuming, I don't have a poltergeist! I finally decided I would try and delete the other channels besides 4 since that is the only one I need for the cable. As I was doing this using the menu function on the tv (since I long ago misplaced the tv remote, I use the cable remote) I accidently chose something I think called an FPA4 lock. I guess I chose yes and my tv went off. I have no idea how to unlock it. Any ideas about any of the above problems? The tv is only about a year and a half old.

The keyboard has bad tact switches or the infrared detector has some issues. you can unsolder the keybard switches one at a time, or you can replace the whole keyboard with some of these models
