Question about JVC GR-D73AG Mini DV Digital Camcorder

Audio problem importing video from JVC GR-D320E

When importing footage from a JVC GR-D320E into iMovie, the audio has random and frequent cuts.
After trying every option I can think of, like configuration, preferences, settings etc. in both program and camera to sort out the problem, the only thing that ocurres to me is that it might be some sort of incompatibility between the camera and the miniDV cassette (which has been recorded with a Canon MVX200i).
On the other hand, miniDV data cassettes should be readable by any camera, shouldn´t it?
Anyone knows how to configurate the JVC GR-D320E camera to read and play miniDV cassettes correctly, even when they haven´t been recorded by the same camera?
Any ideas? Thanks

Montserrat

I think it might have to do with the upload process. It's a long shot but have you tried watching the video as you watch it? It may give the computer more processing time (time to clean it up a bit) before having to finalize. Some computers are just not up to date yet but if you have a mac it should work. The computer might need a few "practice runs" as well. Hope that helps.

Importing HD video on a Mac

mac

hi there

have you tried a different medium to which you transfer the videos? what i mean is a different software of your choice.

have you tried also using a driver which your cam is compatible for your mac? most probable cause that you cant import those videos is that your mac itself does not have the correct drivers for the specific files to be imported to.

hope this helps.

JVC GR-HDKR1 digital camera compatibility issue with MAC

Just output via the AV jacks, and use a TV/Video input card or USB dongle. You can then Play the DVR, and Record on the PC, With Video Recording Software, through the Video Input. On your chosen device. You can get Component, or Composite Video IN. Audio is in Stereo. Then you will be able to be able to use your camera again... ?

JVC GR-D275U Driver for mac

You would need to use iMovie. Most MacBooks come with this already installed but if you can't find it you might have to buy it from apple's website. All you have to do is open iMovie with the camera connected and on and import the movie into iMovie, then you can edit the way you want it to be. iMovie has some great tutorials as well. Importing and editing can take a while, however.
