Problem for Agfa SnapScan E52 Flatbed Scanner

Scanner turns things yellow in colour scan

Am using an Agfa Snapscan e52 and have been for some time but suddenly it has decided to turn things yellow (sometimes in bands and some times not) especially whites.
Simply wondering what's causing it and what can be done short of a new scanner?

A new scanner is the only solution.
Do check out the software options first though.
Uninstall the software and reinstall it. just to be sure.
