Hi,

First of all to troubleshoot this problem, please reseat the fixing assembly. To do this, please follow the steps below:

Reseating the Fixing Assembly

  1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    e002 error - unplug_power_cord.gif

The fuser unit and surrounding area can become extremely hot during operation. Perform the following procedure after the fuser unit has cooled down completely. Touching the fuser unit when it is still hot may result in burns.

  2. Turn the lock release levers located on the back of the machine in the direction of the arrow and release the lock.

  3. Hold the grip on the fuser unit and remove it.

The fuser unit weighs approximately 3.3 lb (1.5 kg), and it is heavier on the back side. Be sure to hold the grip securely when carrying a fuser unit. Dropping the unit may result in personal injuries.

  4. Hold the grip on the fuser unit and install it securely.

  5. Lock the fuser unit by turning the two lock release levers in the direction of the arrow.

  6. Connect the power cord and all interface cables.

  7. Plug the power cord in the wall outlet to turn on the machine.

How can i resolve the error code of E002-0000 on IR 2202? when i switch on it mark that error and refuse to operate please help us

I believe that model number is wrong......You must be referring to a Canon IR 2200 or maybe a Canon IR 2220. The Fuser has a problem when warming up. Replace the fuser or the Fixing film assembly and then the error must be reset in service mode.

My machine is canon NP3050 type F127500 and the problem is that, when you start up the machine, the screan show error code E002 please what can i do?

E002 is a clasic Fuser error
"E002Fuser temperature too low"
Turn OFF and ON the machine, if that dosent help you need to replace the Fuser Unit.

I have canon ir400 machine... it displayed error codes e002.. what i do? plz help me....

If the fuser assy has been repaired and you keep experiancing an E002 the problem is most likely a faulty DC Controller (main board) The DC Controller handles the voltage applied to the fuser assy and gives the error code E002 or E003. Have your tech clean & reseat connectors on the DC Controller before just replacing it. I have found cleaning the connectors & reseating them solves the problem 75% of the time.

The main thermistor TH1 has poor contact or open circuit. The thermal switch TP1 has an open circuit. The fixing heater has an open circuit. The SSR is faulty or the DC controller PCB.After the main power switch is turned ON the temperature detected by the main thermistor does not reach 70 C.The error must be reset in service mode :COPIER - FUNCTION - CLEAR - ERR

Error E000

This is a reprint from another tech, he was right on with this...

okay lets shed some light on the E000 error code on the D680, D880, IR1300 family ( including the 1310,1330,1370,1630,1670)
The error code E00 is a memory threshold error what it means is your machine has logged 4 of the following errors, E001,E002, or E003. It is a lockout error and the machine cannot be used until the problem has been repaired or the errors cleared. First lets look at the errors:
E001 fuser over temp means the fixing assy has exceeded the manufactures maximum temp limits
E002 fuser temp dropout means the fixing assy has cooled below a set point during a copy session
E003 fuser no response means the fixing assy didn't even attempt to warm up at power on
How to fix, most common problem is bad power setting 4 E002's either brown outs of brief power failures.
To clear the error, Enter service mode by pressing additional functions then the # button, use the left or right arrow buttons to scroll to #7 printer press set. again use the arrow buttons to scroll to #4 printer reset press set. press the appropriate arrow key under the YES to clear the error. unplug the copier and reboot. At this time normal function should return if not and it resets a E00 the you can assume either the fixing assy is bad or either the power supply PCB or DC controller is bad and it is getting E001,E003 errors. At that point id call a qualified tech to research the problem to avoid spending money on excess parts

Hope that helps...

Error code e002

Refers to a problem in the fuser assy. Could be a blown thermistor or lamp. Remove fuser assy & check continuity on thermistor & lamps. Lamps must be disconnected to test. Error will have to be reset in service mode after replacing bad component.

Canon NP-6035 persistent E002

e002 error normally indicates that the heater {fuser} is off
to clear that in most canon models there is a small press switch is to be activated to reset the error

at the rear right side of machine there is a small cover take it out and look for that small black button, press it while or immediately after switching the machine ON , switch OFF and ON again
if the error still exist may a real damage in fuser e.g. blown thermo fuse or lamp
