Question about GE 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range - Stainless-Steel

1 Answer

I have a GE self cleaning convection range. Purchased in 2005. I had a repair person come out yesterday. He said it needs a new crystal keypad (pt# WB27T10386) and they are no longer available. What do I do?

Try contacting GE customer relations department. I think you can get there using the prompts on their answer line (800-626-2000). Because this is only a few years old, they may offer a good will certificate to help with the purchase of a replacement range. Please don't rate this solution, as anything but a Fix-Ya will lower my score. Thanks, and good luck.

Hi michell51238 - From what you are describing it sounds like the range may possibly have a faulty light switch or wiring failure that only a professional can repair. I personally recommend consulting a certified technician for a proper diagnosis and to move forward accurately.
