Hi,this is karimul islam.i am from malda.i have some technical problem about dvd writer ,procer fan.my procecor fan is sounding all of time when i using notebook.and my dvd writer is can not load or write any dvd ,cd.......my warenty period is till 1|1|1ccr to 3|3|3ccr..

Let's make sure that Nero is not causing the problem. Try this: -Insert a blank CD or DVD -Find a file that you want to burn to disc -Right-Click on said file and select Send To --> DVD-RW Drive (D:) (or whatever your recordable drive is labeled) -Open My Computer, double click on your recordable drive - You should see your file ready to be burned to disc - In the left-hand panel, you should see a link that says "Burn these files to disc" or something similar - click this link and see what happens
If this process works and properly burns a disc, your issue is not with your drive but with Nero. If this process does NOT work, then you may need to reinstall drivers for your DVD writer or replace the drive if it is faulty.

There might be a lense problem in your cd dvd writer,if you are burning dvds check whether it is combo or dvd writer, because combo drive only reads dvd but not burning...
or attach your writer to any other system to know whether there is a problem with your writer or with your burning software.
if it runs ok with other system ,means there is a problem with your burning software i.e nero 8...

Hi, well the short answer is NO. You cannot use DVD's in a CD Writer at all. So the simple answer is to get some CD-R and copy the files to them. OR get a Combo DVD/CD writer and install that as well.. and then you can use both..
