SOURCE: I work with Mac OS (Snow Leopard) and my Mac don't

Snow Leopard has a bunch of drivers built in to control various printers.  If it doesn't recognize the printer, then you will have to go on Agfa's web site to see if they have a printer driver compatible with Snow Leopard.  Keep in mind that Snow Leopard is a new OS and that printer manufacturers will take some time to update their programs and drivers to run on it.  If you don't find a driver then, you got to use a different printer or downgrade your OS to one that will run the printer.

SOURCE: HP Scanjet 4470c compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.1

You will not find drivers for this old scanner. Sorry but this scanner is not compatible with Tiger, Leopard, or Snow Leopard, and HP offers no drivers other than for OSx 8.0 & 9.0 which are 10 years old. Time to purchase a new scanner.

SOURCE: I cannot use my AGFA SNAPSCAN 1236 with Snow Leopard

I had the same problem. Upgraded from G5 PowerPC Tiger OS to iMac Snow Leopard. Have a Snapscan 1236U (ScanWise) and got the same error message ("cannot find the current ColorSync System Profile"). Downloaded trial version of VueScan (www.hamrick.com) , scanner worked, so purchased the VueScan Professional Edition ($79.99) (Standard Version is $39.99). My scanner is now working GREAT!

I have an HP scanjet 4370 and imac snow leopard 10.6.7. I need a driver for the scanner.

lmass44,
You can find drivers and software for your Scanjet 4370 that are compatible with Snow Leopard (10.6.x) here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=457534&prodTypeId=15179&prodSeriesId=457533&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=219
Scroll down to the section on that page titled "Software" and download the first item in that section (HP Scanjet Full Feature Software and Drivers for Mac OS X v10.6).
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Sincerely, Ben

Need ScanMaker i320 driver

Microteck unfortunately have poor support for OS X, so you may have to get a new scanner.  Epson are equally bad for OS X so avoid them too.

HP ScanJet 7650 asking for DPE

This problem happened to me to (OfficeJet 6310xi). These steps solved my problem:

When the program has the error, there's a button so you can show it where DPE is. Click the button
Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Hewlett-Packard/HP Scan Pro/DPE/
Click on DPE 11.6.app

Then I could scan to pdf. When I upgraded to Leopard, I reinstalled my HP software, even though HP says it isn't totally compatible with leopard.
