A kind of cold boot for the camera can be done, by removing the battery for a few seconds and reinsert it. The lock message can be caused by the lock switch on the memory card, or because there is not lock switch in the correct position. Actually the little notch should be in the up position, to engage a little switch in the camera, so the card will be accessed by the camera.

My picture card is saying no picture when i go to take a picture the card says full it wont let me take a picture??

Hi.

Check AE lock custom button:

d373c1c.gif

Ensure that the memory card has no protective seal or object in front of the protection area. See here.

Ensure that the files are not individually protected (Key sign in settings)

If that does not fix the problem, then the card may be defective. In that case replace the card.

Here a manual.

How can I turn off "write protect"

The write protect is usually a small micro switch on the memory card. Pull it out and make sure the switch is not locked. It's located on the edge of one side of the card..

Is not taken shot. It's saying write-protect

SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it. The position nearest the contacts unlocks it. If the switch is already in the proper position, try sliding it fully the other way and then back again.

If that doesn't work, try another card.

Olympus camedia c-3040 zoom how to delete pic

Judging by your explanation, the photos are on your sd digital memory card rather than the internal memory.
Since you are unable to delete just those 15, it sounds like you might have accidentally enabled the "protect" function.

Get out your manual (or download a new one) and read about how to protect/unprotect photos, and also read about how to format your card in camera - something you should do on a VERY regular basis for the health of your memory card.

While you have the book out, read ALL of it - twice! You'll be amazed how much you'll learn.

My olympus camedia d-540ZOOM writes " write protect" on its screen... so, I can't take pictures, can't edit them.I can't even move the pictures to a pc inserting the memory card directly...

Take your memory card out and move the tiny plastic switch on it to "unlock" or whatever it says. If that doesn't help, try another card. If that still doesn't help, come back and we'll try something else!

i checked your model and it uses a smartmedia memory card-hard to find nowadays-max size is 128mb's-you can find them still on internet-maybe time to upgrade camera before you spend too much on obsolete card-won't work in new camera-good luck!

Write protect

just open the card cover and press quick view and ok at the same time, and reset the camera. if that don´t solve it may need to replace the mainboard
