I am assuming you have accessed the element, in the centre of the element is a fixing nut, remove this altogether, and lever element out with a broad blade screwdriver or similar.
Pull the thermistor out of the element, and transfer to new element.
Also transfer stainless steel fixing bracket to new element if there is one fitted. Refit new element
Plz rate my solution.
Thamks.

Error code f-13

Do u want to resolve the f-13 fault code ON HOTPOINT WD860 Ultima and other models.
Fix the fault . It is a tricky job but the heater thermostat switch has tripped as it senses something burning. Probably a little bit of fluff on the heater element inside the heater unit.. There are 2 switches on top of this heater unit. One where the 2 blue wires go on the top left of the 3rd picture and the other which has a tall black wire connector on shown in the middle of the 3rd picture. Remove that connector and undo the holding screw . You can then reset the switch. The switch is a small circular switch hidden beneather the connector on the photos. This thermostat switch has a yellow. red dot ontop of it. If you use a small pin or needle and press into that dot you will hear it tick back into place. you have reset the switch now. You will probably need to clean the inside of the heater element unit to get rid of the fluff particles or it will keep switching off. To take this apart you will need a set of Star screwdrivers. Its a bit tricky but you will be able to undo the star screws and take them all out. I will add some photos to show you the unit apart. You can see the build up of fluff on the photos i have added from my hotpoint WD860 heater unit. This is a tricky job and takes about an hour due to the screw being awkward to take off and put on again but mine hasnt faulted for 2 years since sorting it out. You can buy a new Thermostat switch which is about 10 pounds sterling from Hotpoint or other spares stores. error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-0.jpg error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-2.jpg error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-5.jpg error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-9.jpg error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-14.jpg error-code-f-13-04t3bj0jgktmuqmnt3s3ejb0-2-20.jpg

Hi, i have owned my Hotpoint Ultima WT960 washer for 3 years now with no problems, however recently the washer keeps tripping my consumer box. it only trips on the main wash cycles and is fine on rinse and...

I would concur that is probably the element and or thermistor attached to the element that is causing the problem.
Before commiting to replace, try disconnecting the supply to the element and trying it again, if it does not trip, then this proves element and or thermistor faulty.

I have a hotpoint aquarrius WMA 32 My element has gone how do I remove the old one?

Remove lower rear cover of washer, you will see the heater with 2 wires attached to it, and a thing that is called the thermistot, remove 2 heater wires, and loosen center securing nut, prize old heater out with a screwdriver or similar, fit new element and thermistor, reconnect and make sure it is tightened up securely.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

My hotpoint ultima keeps triping the trip switch. it had f08 on the screen but now that has gone, but still trips electrics every time i press start.

Hi

f08 means heater relay cannot be actived so try unplugging heater element and see if it stops tripping the electrics.

Hotpoint ultima tumble drier condenser has F 10 error code

Error code F10 means common feed of heater or thermostat open circuit.
You need to test the thermostats and the heater element for continuity.
You need a multimeter to do this, assuming you know how to use a meter, then set it on the ohms range for continuity, remove one wire from each stat, and test with meter across terminals of stats,
You should get FSD if stats are o/k.
If you don't, then you need to replace both stats, even if only one is faulty.
It is unlikely to be the element that is faulty, as they rarely fail.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks

Ultima Condensor Dryer

on the back of your dryer you have a heater behind the protruding panel... Either you heater element has gone, but most like the thermal cut outs have blown...these are located in the same area..they are small and round looking and are connected to them are wires either side. Anyways check the conitunity of the termal cut outs using a tester if no continuity then they are no good... hope it helps...
