Unable to delete some pictures on my camera

There are 2 pictures on my camera that won't delete. They disappear
when I press delete, but when I put my memory card in the slot
to order pictures, they still appear.
How do I get rid of them?

The pictures have been corupted somehow. To properly get rid of them put your memory card into a PC and delete them in Widows by doing the following:

1) Open the Memory Card folder to browse files (It should open when you first put the card in the slot)
2) Browse to the location of the photographs. It will be several folders down.
3) Point and drag to select both files.
4) Hold down Shift Key
5) Then Press Delete Key

This ensures the files are completely deleted and not sent to your recycle bin. If they still appear afterwards (which is unlikely) your memory card may be faulty.

Any other question just fire a comment back. I'm here to help! :)

How to delete pictures from a canon power shot sd 1000

It's very easy, there are 2 ways:
1) Using the camera itself:
  1. Slide the black slide switch on the back to the lowest position (to access stored pictures; now the images you took earlier can be seen on the screen.)
  2. Using the directional keys, browse to the image you want to delete.
  3. Press the down directional key (marked with a blue icon of a 'picture' being put into a dustbin)
  4. Confirm by selecting "yes" and pressing "func.set". the image is now deleted.
2) Using a computer (more convenient when you want to delete multiple/all the stored images:
  1. After plugging the camera in (using the supplied cable) open "my computer"
  2. open the camera and keep opening the folders until you find the pictures you have taken.
  3. Holding down the "ctrl" key on the keyboard, click on all the images you want to delete to select them. (if you want to delete all the images you have taken, replace this step with; click on "file" or "organize" and then click "select all")
  4. press the "delete" key. click "yes" now you have deleted the pictures.
There you go. I hope I was helpful.

I pressed format and then yes and then all my pictures disappeared did they get deleted or what did the format do???

Yes, Format erases all pictures.

If it is a micro SD card or other flash type memory then it would not normally be possible to get the pictures back after that,

How do I tranfer pictures from Kodak easyshare cx7300 built-in memory to a SD card?

Hi there, welcome to FixYa. I can explain that for you.

1) Put your card in the camera and format the card.
2) Go into the menu and set the camera's image storage location to the internal memory.

Then do this:
1) Press the Review button.
2) Press the Menu button.
3) Scroll up or down to highlight Copy.
4) Press the Ok button.
5) Press up or down to highlight an option
5) ALL to move everything (pictures & video) to the other location (the card). - Picture or Video to move the current item to the card if you just want to move one thing at a time.

By the way. This will only COPY the images or videos to a card. They will still be in the camera's internal memory. If you want to delete them you have to follow the Delete images procedure.

To Delete:
1) Press the Review button
2) Scroll Left or Right to find a picture.
3) Press Delete button
4) Scroll Up or Down to highlight an option.
The ALL option will delete everything.
5) Highlight Exit and Press the Ok button.

That will cover it. Thanks for coming to FixYa and feel free to rate my solution.

How to delete a picture

Slide the upper-right slide switch down to put the camera in picture review mode. Press right or left on the circular switch to find the particular picture you want to delete. Then press the upper left "trashcan" button to delete.

To erase ALL the pictures, leave the camera in picture review mode and press the menu button. The erase command should be around the fourth item listed in the menu that pops up.

When done, don't forget to slide the upper-right switch up to put the camera back in picture taking mode.
