There should be a menu item in your BIOS to Enable/Disable On-board video.

Not sure what key on your computer selects the BIOS Setup Utility. Watch when it begins booting. It will show it for a few seconds. Maybe F2?

You have received some wrong information.
This motherboard has a PCI-e x16 slot(ver1.0), two PCI-X 66MHz, and two PCI 33MHZ slots..
The video card must go in the PCI-e x16 slot.
The x8 lanes are hardwired from the Tumwater chipset to the BCM5721 LAN chip, and are not accessible for use.
There is no x8 lane slot on this motherboard.

Your board has a PCIe x16 slot so you may want to upgrade to a graphics card, ATI/AMD Radeon HD cards will give you video and sound.

I have DG965SS mother board and I am about to buy video card PCI-E , what I need to do to have this card working and not using the on-board craphic ?

When you already purchased a new PCIE card for it what you need to do is to just plug the video card to the mother and then power it on and computer will automatically disable the onboard video card and then once computer is up run the setup disc for the new video card and install all the software for it and you;re ready to go now.

Your ASUS motherboard model has on-board sound. You are asking what 3rd party card to install?

Your motherboard supports:

PCI
PCIe x1
PCIe x16

A 3rd party sound card of your choosing that will fit in one of these vacant slots will do nicely.

I am using AMD 6400+ with M2N VM DVI WITH VGA card GT8600 1 GB but my graphic doesn't support what is the problem please tell me.

Your problem may be your in the wrong slot. My m2n board has 2 pcie slots. One is an X8 and the other is X16. Your card may be in the wrong slot. The blue one is the X16 and the black is X8. If you are using 2 PCIe cards the X 16 slot will only run at X8. Hope this helps.

Your board has a PCI-express slot as well as the integrated graphics, so you should be able to just plug the Asus card in and it should autmatically replace the onboard graphics; You'll need to install the software for the new card when Windows starts up. To ensure a trouble-free installation it might be advisable to uninstall the Radeon graphics from Device Manager first. Do you need help to do that?
