How many MB YOUR RAM/ may you have lowest of Ram 256MB/ or 512MB only.....that why freezing your laptop. make it upgrade your RAm ...now adays all programs are updated to new versions.. if you using os xp -- sp2 or sp3 or higher than.. atlest you have minimun of ram 1 or max. 2gb..if VISTA min. 1 max 2 or 3GB
also alot of viruses.spyware or all unwanted programs. programs can make slow of operating system....., check first your programs then hardware .. change it if nessesary.
