My Fender FM25 DSP suddenly stopped working. I was playing along and then I it just started buzzing. I turned it off and noticed the red light stayed on much longer then normal. Like it was having issues draining the current. The amp is only used as a practice amp at home. It has never been turned up past 5 on the dial. I was using the clean channel with reverb when it went south. Anyone have any ideas? the amp is probably 5 years old and really has not been used that much.

There is a protection thermistor in the circuit to keep it from over-heating, this is why it works again when it cools. Check and make sure you are not covering any ventilation holes, or if the unit has a fan, make sure it is working.

You might have a ground problem. Does it do it in different outlets or when you take it to someone else's house? One easy solution to ground problems can be running a three prong to two prong adapter on the power cable. Give that a try and see if it helps.

go back in and find where the electrolitic capacitors connect to the board. They look kind of like a battery. One or both of them have broken loose from the main board, preventing any significant current from going to the output transformer, and causing overload. This is a common problem, and it does not take much rough handling to cause it.
where the break is is at the solder connection. Under a magnifying glass, the break will look like a little circle. Float fresh solder on that or any other large solder joints which may be cracked or broken.
Use standard precautions when working around high voltage.

SOURCE: Fix Reverb unit on Fender Hot-Rod Deluxe Amp

Could have broken a spring in the reverb tank, or a wire connecting it to the amp, or the reverb driver tube, or a few other things, but those are the most likely in this situation. Thats what I'd check first. Give it a little slap and if it vibrates like normal, your spring is probably ok, you can still open it up and double check though. Check your wires. Then pull your reverb driver tube and replace it. If that doesn't work, it is probably in the circuit somewhere, and you should not work on your amp unless you know what you are doing. They store large amounts of electicity in the caps and they can kill you.

My fender fm 65 dsp amplifier squeals and feeds back every time i turn it on

Is it plugged into a guitar at the time? If so, it sounds like you're using a speaker cable instead of an instrument cable. There is a big difference. Look on the cable to make sure. If guitar is not plugged in would be a completely different diagnosis.

Hello! I was recently playing and found out then whenever I play specific notes on any of my guitars, my Fender Frontman 212R will buzz. The notes that always buzz are drop C, drop C#, any A note, and...

There is something resonating with that note frquency. Often the grille or wiring inside will rattle at certain frequencies. You need a sustained source of these frequencies to find what is causing the noise.

Fender Acoustisonic Jr. One day I played it at its highest volume, then turned it off. Came back to play it 20 min. later and it wouldn't make a sound. You can slightly hear the guitar buzzing when...

I would try using another speaker to see if you can get the sound back, this will help you narrow down the problem, you can also use the effect send to feed anothe amp to see if you get the sound OK.
It can be blown speaker or output stages,

Fender acoustasonic junior crackling loudly and electronic buzz when touch volume knobs

noise problem with fender jr accoustatics is the poor aluminum sheet ground design that wraps around the body of the amp. it happens to me all the time because i kept on moving/carrying/dropping the amp every time we do church service. i am thinking of using an aluminum cable to wrap around outside the body.

I have a Fender Acoustasonic DSP 30 (Two 8" speakers) and recently my effects on both the instrument and vocal channels have topped working at all. I heard a small woooosh and a light pop sound, so...

Wrong assumption ! Most likely an electrolytic capacitor blew up. If you open the unit it should be obvious... it MAY also have taken out another component(s) as well. They can make a mess so clean up any residue as it will cause corrosion. Use distilled (non-ionic) water to clean up the residue. The little cans sometimes blow off or spit at the top and spew white crud all over.

If I turn up the volume on my Frontman 10g more than 4-5,the amp starts buzzing every time I play the thick strings. Thank you!

You MAY be overdriving the amp. This is a tiny amp and should NOT be played louder than a typical BoomBox or the speaker may be driven too hard, going non-linear and then buzzing.
