I have a Toshiba P205 Notebook. The screen work when I open just a little bit (10% open). When I fully open it, it gives me a gray screen. It works fine with an external monitor. How do I fix it?

! of 2 things most likely has happened.

1. you need a new screen

2. you have a short in the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard.

Either way it would require major hardware work

Monitor is at 15% angle downward and refuses to be tilted up?

1.)TRY THIS : press ctrl+alt+ "an arrow key" and see if your screen positioning changes to normal again : Press all keys together : ctrl+alt+ "up arrow+key" could solve this

2.)try f8 option when your machine boots up then select last known good configeration.

3.)uninstall your VGA drivers, restart your machine, then reinstall your VGA drivers.

4.) Try onboard VGA graphics

5.) position your screen -15% angle :P

Etower 400i - green power button stuck

Lightly tapping with your finger tip should free it.  Alternately you may use a dull pointed object like the non-writing end of a ball pen and knock on the stuck switch.  If neither will free the stuck switch, you may need something thin yet strong to slightly snap it off its current backward angle and set to realign properly. The idea is to squeeze the thin whatever between the green button and the housing and force realign.  A fingernail pusher would be ideal.

Good luck and kind regards.
