It used to happen with me also but then i began downloading the songs from m.beemp3.com or m.nuttymp3.com.And you can do one more thing. When you recieve the song , just play it from the inbox and dont save it otherwise it will tell you that music player memory is full.BEST OF LUCK.

Hi! Thanks for using Fixya Support
There are several ways you can add song to your phone, one is through bluetooth transfer fro a different device; second is through download if you have Internet access using your phone; Lastly you can connect you computer to your phone and copy music files from it using the data cable that came with your phone.
Hope this helps

Nokia 5220 xpress music... have a problem with media player.. it says "not enough memory" whenever i start music player

If it says not enough memory, you need to free up some space in your phone by deleting unnecessary files. Or you can add a memory card to your phone so you can add more songs. Hope this helps!

How do you get your 6700 to play music etc on the headphones

Hello,

Your phone includes a media player for listening to songs and viewing video clips. Music and video files stored in the music folder in the phone memory or on the memory card are automatically detected and added to the music library.

To open the media player, select Menu > Media > Media player.

Music menu Access your music and video files stored in the phone memory or on the memory card, download music or video clips from the web, or view compatible video streams from a network server (network service). To listen to music or play a video clip, select a file from the available folders and Play.
To download files from the web, select Options > Downloads and a download site.
To update the music library after you have added files, select Options > Update library.

Play songs
To adjust the volume level, press the volume keys.
Operate the player with the virtual keys on the display.
To start playing, select icon_25.gif
To pause playing, select icon_26.gif
To skip to the next song, select icon_27.gif
To skip to the beginning of the previous song, select icon_28.giftwice.

To rewind the current song, select and hold icon_28.gif. Release the key at the position you want to continue the music playback.

Error message M506

I also had this problem and thought my music players were broken. The media players displayed the songs as 00:00:00 even when the file info read that it took up space and had a song length. The music player displayed that m506 error message.

I looked through forms for an answer, and I noticed I didn't try messing with one thing: THE BATTERY.

Try taking the battery out of your phone and putting it back in. It worked for me! My music players work again!
