LSU Error While i give print LSU error display in my system. Printer model is Samsung ML1610

how can over come from LSU error problem in samsung all in one machines

i am not able to print as this model printer is not in system

The online/error light is always red, and I can't print. I turn the printer off, change the toner and the light is still red, what can I do

LSU = "Laser Scanner Unit". It can be quite expensive to repair and the unit is discontinued.

The LSU is the Laser Scanning Unit or "printhead". There is a mirror in there that spins really fast, if the mirror spins too slowly (bad motor, low voltage) it gives an error. Sounds like you would need a replacement LSU. Have the printer serviced.

LSU (Laser Scanning Unit) is a device inside the printer that create images on the drum.
If you see LSU Error on the display, it is indicating that there's a problem with LSU unit.

• Unplug the power cord and plug it back in.
• Check if the printer makes any humming noise.

If the problem persists or does not make any noise, LSU needs to be replaced.

if it's a vertical line in scanned pictures, it's probably a dust bunny on the scanner head, if it's only on printed pages, it's probably a dust bunny on or in the laser assembly or between the laser and the photosensitive drum. if cleaning doesn't get rid of it, you could have a defective scanner head or laser assembly, or a scratch on the photosensitive drum.
