LG TV SETTINGS PROBLEM

I have a LG flatron TVpurchased in 2002. model is 21 fa 20 q. Due to mishandling of settings I think, channels are not being selecting with up arrow and down arrows. But channels are being selected directly with numbers. I have read the booklet and assuming that all the channels are being skipped with skip option. I tried to reverted this skipping, but no use. So what I have to do? Is this problem with settings or TV have maintenance? Please reply me with probable solutions dharmalav@yahoo.com or dharmalav@gmail.com . thank you.

I have lg 1200 flatron golden eye tv. Picture is getting blurred and cloudy appearnce. Pls let me know solution

The resolution is dependent on the settings. Did you check and adjust the pot controls? Check the connections from the source to see if any loose wires are in need of tightening? In some case HEAT causes the controls to go out of sync and give you a poor picture. Other than that, contact LG support services for their opinion.

I can't program my tv chanel , some of the channerll are missed tv LG flat panel

A simple suggestion that may work--tried to direct enter a channel like 21 enter to see if it goes there? If it does you should be able to go into menu and ADD it to the up/down memory of channels, takes time but if works better than nothing. (can also remove channels in same way---shopping and golf channels are first ones I always delete.

No sound on my '03 lg plasma flatron tv., model : DU-50pz60

Sound issues and answersa short list:

sound on set or a box muted or turned down?

speakers inside the set (see menu) switchedon or off?

internal/external switch somewhere in or on back of set?

Clearly it could be a audio problem (a model number?) but explore all here thatyou have not already done--make sure theremote set to TV and look for a button on it marked MTS and if there cycle it.

You can also determine if same trouble when you play a DVD.

I have Onida TV Model 21 inch , I accidentally enable the features of volume lock, hotel mode and channel lock and I cannot reset the same. Due to this, I cannot increase volume of telivision

MIGHT WORK IF YOU:
Turn off tv with remote, that is standby, then turn off tv with switch or unplug from wall. Wait a few minutes until led lights go off on tv. plug tv back in. try pushing vt on remote and power button on tv at same time.
If this doesn't work try contacting a local retailer, they always have a list of codes for their salesmen.

Picture settings

Colorimetre HCFR software
AVC HD 709 calibration disk
Spyder2 colorimeter (I know most prefer the Eye-One meters, but the Spyder2 was available from my job at no cost)

Here are the settings:

PS3 Blu-Ray player

Output Format (HDMI): Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr (important!!! NOT RGB output)
BD 1080p 24hz Output (HDMI): On (this TV can reproduce video at 48hz for accurate 2:2 pulldown)
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super White (HDMI): On (not sure if this matters)

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.
