There should be either a switch on the side of your laptop for turning your wireless on/off

or...

look at your f1-f12 keys. there should be a picture of what looks like a wireless icon on one of these. you can then turn the wireless on or off by holding the FN key and pressing the F key you see the icon on.

hope this helps

Which switch will turn on the wireles net connection

The keys along the top ranging from F1 to F12 will have icons on them. you will need to locate the icon that resembles a WiFi tower or radio signal.
By default the F1-F12 keys are inverted performing their functions such as turning WiFi on and off so the Fn key will not need to be pressed unless you have changed this setting (typically in the BIOS). If pushing the button with or without the Fn doesn't turn your WiFi on and off then you may be missing the software needed for this to function correctly and you will need to visit Dell to download applications related to your wireless.

I have not open wi fi wire less net work . But wire less net work LED is open

Theencryption key secures your data from unauthorized access. The router's password is a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA orWPA2 encryption key. The Passphrase generates the WEP or WPA or WPA2 encryptionkey and this is in the router's wireless settings. To connect to your wireless router, configure the router'swireless settings ie SSID, plus the WPAor WPA2 encryption key and then configure wireless cards in the laptops and orcomputers with these router's wireless settings. Then the laptops and desktopcomputers can communicate with your wireless router.

Use a wired connection, and download from Dell. Use the Service Code, found on the bottom for more precise driver choices.

We ran a typical Presario M2000 battery of tests, including games, applications, and a couple other areas. Time constraints limited the amount of testing we could get done before the NDA lift (and it's already a few hours late), but we will be providing a follow-up article with further testing and information. That said, if there are any specific areas that you'd like to see tested, feel free to e-mail me or leave a comment.

My wire less internet has been turn off or i need to reprogam my cumputer so that it woke

most dell laptops use Fn+F2 or Fn+F10 key yo turn on wireless. Fn is located in the left bottom and is usually blue. hold this button and while holding it press ether F2 or F10 one and then release it and then release Fn. it should show notification on screen that wireless got turned on but not always. try one and then try internet and then try another. you might want to try repair option after each of buttons you press so if you press Fn+F2 give it like 30 seconds and if no internet you can do right click on the wireless icon b the clock and click repair or troubleshoot. Here is also link that has some other laptops including different models. http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=214308

How to switch wireless on

To activate and deactivate the wireless, you have to press and hold down the Fn key while you press the F2 once. If it's already activated, this will turn Off the wireless or if it's deactivated (Off) this will turn it On. This shortcut key is more or less the same on almost all the New Asus Laptops.
Good luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Go to the control panel. Open wireless connection wizard and configure it by giving the proxy setting of the router. There must be a DNS server to get you connected with the Domain.

But u want to take airtel broad band wireless net key, and u open the tab if u finish ur network wizard tab. And it will open the icon it ask for key, u give it key to continue. It will ready to access the network, so this is the way
