Question about Symbol LS2208 Handheld
When I scan barcode the scanner beeps but puts no information into application. Reset scanner to defaults and scanned the configuration codes from manual but no success. The light is blinking continiously after the scan. Seems to me like it retains information in memory but not transmitting cipherlab
I don't know if this applies to the LS22208.
Symbol Support FAQ says;
A slow continuous flashing LED on the LS9208 indicates that the LS9208 has been put into “programming mode” and is ready to scan programming bar codes. Once the LS9208 is correctly programmed, the LED should stop flashing and remain on, indicating that the scanner is ready for use.
A fast, continuously flashing LED on the LS9208 indicates an internal problem. When the LED is in this state, the LS9208 laser is also shut off for regulatory reasons.
We support these for some big retailers. When they call with that issue 99/100 it's reseat the cable from the base of the scanner (or the system if accesible), no re-programming).
