I have a jvc th-m606 receiver and I don't have a subwoofer for it, is there a different way for me to get audio output or a different subwoofer I can use?

You would have to make a cable that goes from the 8 pin mini din of the jvc unit to each individual speaker. A wiring diagram can be found online each pin on your 8 pin goes to a speaker , and one is for power. Find a wiring diagram and find a cheap electric store that can make the cable for you. I had the same problem...

COMMON FAULTS IN INFRARED TYPE REMOTE CONTROLS

Most of the present electronic devices remote controls are of infrared light emitting diode types. There are ultrasound emitting types are also there, but are rarely used now. With older TVs will have these types of remote controls are with it. The difference between these are; the infrared remote controls should be used within the visinity of the receiver to which is used, and the ultrasound can be used without in visinity of these devices. It can even controlled from an other room of your home. They are mainly used with some audio equipements like BOSE audio systems even now. Let me here describe some of the most common faults that can be orrured with infrared type remote controls.
Take the case of one amoung them from dead condition. You must first of all check its cells for voltage. It is best to work with new cells in its battery comapartment. Check the battery contacts at its battery compartment first, for any accumulation of dust or rust. Rust may occur due to prolonged use of leakey batteries in it. If noted, clean it with a pice of smooth type sandpaper, and check it with after. If it does'n help you go further. Check its infrared emission. You can do it very easly, by using a cellphone with camera option, after making the cellphone to camera mode. Place the remote controls' front end towards the lens of the cellphone camera, switch it on, and press each button on the remote handset. If there is any infrared emission, your cellphones' screen can indicate you by showing its images. It may be interrupted, although if it is there, the infrared LED and other circuits in your remote control is working well and the infrared sensor inside your TV which senses these signals may be faulty, and should be replaced. If you even not see any of these images said above, you have to open your remote control.
Just do it with patience and care, not to break its plastic case while working. These will have slip fit type fixations at its side and should be located carefully. Use the blade of a small screwdriver to push these locks inwards ; by placing it in between the slits of these cabin joints. Do this work with care, and self, alone, without taking advice from any other, because so many will have so many ideas and finally all of them together with may spoil it.
Just lcoate the slip fit locks one by one, and release it with gentle press inward and open it. On opening, the device will split into four parts. upper and lower cabin pieces, a printed circuit board with four or more components direltly soldered to it, and one touch pad. Clean the surfce of the printed circuit board with a piece of smooth cloath, dipped in either rectified spirit or medical quality turpentine. Never use any hard solvets like petrol or thinner. Check it for any loose solderings at terminals of the components sodlered to it. If it found loose, resolder it by applying a little more solder. It is best to replace the crystal oscilltor and infrared LED. Close it and check. if this does not help you, it is best to buy a new one of same type and number.

I am getting a F6 error when i try to turn on my Panasonic SA-PT760 home theater system?

Hello!
the problem with this error is faulty DC regulator I.C. chip, next to power module I.C. It's a hybrid chip and fatigue causes pins to break off chip's base. Anyway, it's a replacement part, you must have technician skills to replace it, plus some electronics tools. I don't remember the part#, but you'll find it at "panasonic.com/parts". Enter your model# and you'll see the list of all parts. It might be "STK" or "STR" at the beginning of part#. Better to open the unit and look up yourself. It's size about 2 by 1 inch, landscape oriented, with 10-15 pins connecting to the board. Don't try to just re-solder that chip. It's not a chip to board, but chip to pins failed connections. I've tried to re-do those pins, but without any luck. Chip might already died. good luck with your project.
Thanks,
Alex.

Hello, I have a Home Cinema LG HT503TH-AH, and it has only one audio jack in front of the receiver. In user manual it's described as a portable-IN, that can be used to listen music from a PC. I wonder if...

If the mic puts out a sufficiently high electrical output, maybe. Most don't and need mic preamps.

But if you have a PC and IT has a mic input you could mic into the PC and send the audio out to any standard audio device from there.

I want to connect a wireless headphone to my system, how do I do this

nstall the USB dongle as the manufacturer instructs you and make sure it’s switched on. Next, fire up your headphones (don’t forget to charge them first). Now remember that most headphones have two different start-up modes. The first time you switch them on you’ll need to pair them with the USB computer. This is done by holding the power button on for at least 4 or 5 seconds (you should read the instructions manual to find out exactly how to do it).

After this is done, you’ll need to scan for Bluetooth devices from your PC. Just start up the software and use it to see what Bluetooth devices you have around. The scan should take a few seconds and after finishing, the software should display a list containing your headphones. Remember that other devices such as mobile phones may be detected if their Bluetooth modules are activated during the scanning process.

wireless-headphones-and-how-to-use-them-3.jpg
tb_zoom.gif Select the headphones and go on to the next step. The software should provide you with two choices. You should be able to pair the device as Stereo Headphones or Headset. Choose headset and go to the next step. A pin will be required in order to pair the device. Most default pins are 0000, but you should check the manual in order to be sure.

The headphones will start ringing and you will be required to press the Call/Answer/Power button (do it). Also, a name should be provided for this connection. You can name it anything you like. My software also allows me to place an icon on the desktop and just double click it when I need to connect my headphones with my laptop.

These should be the basic steps when pairing a device for the first time. Now, if I want to connect my headphones with my laptop I can just activate them (in non-pairing mode) and double click my desktop icon to establish a connection.

You can also repeat the steps above in order to pair your device as stereo headphones. After switching on the device, just double click the connection you desire and everything will work flawlessly.
