Hmm... first of all, do not thrust every single FREE scaner! most of those are yust a bunch of viruses... if your pc is ina a bad condition, it is more probably a virus...

you wanted a "free problem scaner"

Download it here

that should do the trick... or you could try HijackThis, it is a free utility that scans for biger problems, and it is safe... dont forget to make a buckap first!

rate me :)

Online scan found the following inspection on my computer. Please explain what this infection is and how to get rid of it. Thanks. Found 1 infected file! ------------------------------ ...

Download & Run AVG free

Click this link and let the software do the work. You shouldn't trust an online scan, always get a reputable program for a second opinion. I install this software on all my repairs.

Hope this eases your mind.

Unwanted mails with links to different sites are delivered to all ids in contact list without my knowledge.

You may have accidentally downloaded or been attacked by malicious software which will hijack information from your computer. Run your anti-virus scanner with the option to check for malicious software turned on. If you don't have an anti-virus program you can try AVG for free. It is very user friendly. Another software which will clean out malicious software is CCleaner (two Cs) which cleans out unused Windows files and also cleans the Registry of unused clutter. Many techs will recommend using CCleaner before bringing computers into the shop. Both programs are free at Note- when downloading software from be careful not to select or OK additional software appearing in the same download window. I have found some paid utility software claiming to clean up computers and offer a free scan will always returning a warning that there are serious problems, which they can fix for a fee - even if there is nothing wrong with the computer. Free utility software like CCleaner is always free (accepts donations) and does not make up false reports.
Disclaimer, there are other software packages available for free and for a fee which some of which I use. But for quick tech support I am only recommending basic free software which in most cases will resolve the problems.

Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

You probably have some software interfering with the svchost process.

Run Combofix, an Hijack-this like software that usually fixes the svchost issue.

Hope it helps

Sir i have a problem with laptop,its effected from a.exe do i remove it,please help.i am usin gxp {profesional}

You will have to try a bunch of different software to get rid of this. Let's start you off from the top.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

Spybot Search & Destroy. (When installing Spybot, make sure to uncheck TeaTimer.exe. In other words, don't install it!)

AVG Anti-Rootkit Free.

You will need to download each utility. After installing them, restart your computer. After the restart, open up NOD32 Anitvirus and update its security definitions file. After it has been updated, perform an in-depth scan on your entire computer.

After NOD finishes, exit the utility and open Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes' security definition files. Afterward run a full scan on your entire computer. After the scan finishes, remove anything found (restart if necessary).

After Malwarebytes finishes, open up Ad-Aware. Update Ad-Aware's security definition files. Afterward run a full scan. If anything is found, remove it and if necessary, restart your computer.

After Ad-Aware finishes, open up Spybot Search & Destroy. Update Spybot's files then exit Spybot. Now open up Spybot again and select the category, "Immunize." After the automatic scan finishes, select, "Immunize" at the top of the aplication. After immunization is complete, exit Spybot. Now open up Spybot, again. After Spybot loads run the scanner (Press, "Check for Problems"). After the scan finishes, remove anything found then restart if necessary.

After Spybot finishes, open up AVG Anti-Rootkit Free. After the application finishes loading, perform an in-depth scan of all hard-drives. If anything is found, remove it then restart your computer.

If the virus remains after following the steps above you will have to get your computer repaired as it only gets trickier from here.

Let me know how it turns out for you. Don't hesitate to let me know if you need any more assistance.

Windows XP-no sound, no internet explorer, no system restore...

If you have access to another internet connected computer, go to and download their free Anti-Malware software. Save it to some folder, call it export, for example.
Go to and download the free ATF cleaner and save it to the same folder.
Go to this link and download Hijack this and save it to the same folder.
Write these three files onto a cd.
Install them onto your computer, and without rebooting, run a scan of your system with MBAM. Fix any problems it detects. Run the ATF cleaner to clean out your temp files and browser cache.
Then see if you can update the MBAM software.
If you can go online, immediately go to windows update and apply all critical and security updates for your system that it offers.
Update your Antivirus software. If you don't have AV, download and install Avira AntiVir free from here, & update the definitions.
Now reboot your computer and run a complete scan with your updated antivirus software. Let it fix any problems it detects.
If you're still having problems, run a scan with Hijack This. Don't fix anything, just save a logfile and report back with the results...
Also please consult this valuable link.
I hope this information allow you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please reply with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take a moment to rate this post.

I can solve your virus problem and the other issue might be resolved in the process.

First run a scan with this online scanner (Use internet explorer to start the scanner):

After that scan finishes and has cleaned anything found, run this online scanner (Use internet explorer to start the scanner):

After that scan finishes and cleaned anything found download and install the free trial of ESET NOD32 antivirus. Yes, you just scanned with that utility, however the downloadable version has a startup scan that checks any files that start with the system. If any malicious ones are located they are quarantined awaiting your decision to restore them or remove them.

After you install the scanner restart your computer! Regardless if it asks you to or not, restart your computer, then update the security definitions of scanner, then perform and in-depth scan on all hard-drives. After the scan finishes and has removed any malicious files, download and install the free version of Ad-Aware:

Once again, after you install it restart your computer. After the restart update the security definitions then perform a Full Scan. After the scan is complete and has removed any intrusions download and install Spybot Search & Destroy. NOTE: Do NOT install TeaTimer(.exe)! You will be asked if you want it during the installation of Spybot. This utility will cause a possibly fatal conflict with NOD32 and can cause complications with your system! So please DO NOT install TeaTimer.

After you install Spybot, restart your computer. After the restart update the security definitions of spybot and run a scan. After the scan completes remove any entries found then download and install AVG Anti-Rootkit Free:

After installation restart your computer. After the restart perform an in-depth scan of all your hard-drives. After the scan download and install CCleaner.

After installing CCleaner you do not have to restart your computer. Simply start the application and run the cleaner. This will clean out the temporary directories of web browsers and popular applications where viruses will sometimes nest themselves waiting to strike. Cleaning out these directories often helps keep your system clean. After the cleaning finishes click on the, "registry" tab. Now scan for any issues. If anything is found select to fix the issues. When prompted, make a backup of the files and save this file to a location you can remember! If for any reason removing these registry entries causes abnormalities you will double-click the file that you just saved and it will restore everything that was just erased. This is your computer's life-line if for some reason a critical system registry entry was erased. On the bright side, removing these issues from the registry might fix your shut-down issue.

I hope you get this virus removed. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Computer constantly stalls

I you have installed all these programs. Then that itself could cause the problem. ununstall all these programs, go to, Download the free edition for virus and spyware, install these both update them on the net, run a complete scan for virus and sypware.

You should never install multiple security softwares at the same time. If you feel one software is not doing well. Uninstall it, restart your system, then install another software and do the scanning.
