start your dishwasher on a cycle and place your hand on the plastic block at the plumbing (not dishwasher) end of the filling pipe. you should feel a slight vibration and hear a slight humm coming from the plastic block. if not, then there's your problem. the block in question is an electromagnetic valve that opens on the dishwashers command as a flood and leak protection method. my next suggestion would be to remove the dishwasher and then remove the left panel (looking at the front). you will need a set of torx screwdrivers and there are 2 screws underneath the white seal. you should then be able to see what is called the fill matrix. in normal operation the fill water comes through a blue hose at the bottom up a thin pipe, which bends back on itself at the top in a kind of question mark shape. this fills the matrix and when full, a diaphragmatic valve tells the dishwasher the matrix is full, and the water drains into the wash chamber, where circulation begins.
