Question about Dell Inspiron E1405 Notebook
I tried installing an audio device and it says it doesnt support it.............also i tried to do a system reset on my dell laptop inspiron E1405 and it says its turned off.........and it wont allow me to turn it on............if i could just do that i could reset my system to the time before when it worked.............helllpppppppp ppppppppppleaseee
First, if your system reset was turned off, and you now turn it on, it won't have a previous reset point anymore, since it was turned off. :(
Your best bet is to go to http://support.dell.com and go to download drivers. There, you must enter your "Service Tag" number under your laptop and it will show you all the drivers for your system.
You'll see a small list for audio, read them cafully and make sure you use the one that states its a driver for the audio device, plus the latest posted date on it (ensures compatibility with your current version of Windows).
Once you download and install these drivers, you may need to restart your computer.
