Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
So when I turn on the laptop right after it loads the "In Touch With Tomorrow, Toshiba" right before the windows logo shows up it asks for a password. I tried entering the BIOS but it asks for a Password once I hit F2. I heard two ways to fix this but I am unsure.
Take out the CMOS clock battery for 12 hours. Hopefully, this will clear out the BIOS settings along with this password. What does the CMOS clock look like on the Toshiba Satellite and is this easier compared to the 2nd?
If this doesn't clear the password (sometimes the stored electricity in the capacitors is enough to keep it), there's usually a jumper somewhere on the motherboard to clear BIOS. Where is the jumper or is there a manual or some diagram that can show me how?
Or Is there an easier way, I really appreciate it!!! Thank You
Can you get on in safe mode
if so then click control panel users accounts
i believe you would click administartor then accounts you can remove windows passwords in there.
hope this helps
safe mode can be accessed by repeatedly hitting f8 as you restart your pc

Tips for a great answer:
Insert the Toshiba A60 recovery disc into the CD/DVD-ROM drive.
Power off the Toshiba (with the recovery disc still loaded inside the optical drive).
Release the "F12" key when the" In Touch with Tomorrow TOSHIBA" screen is displayed. This will open up the BIOS.
Change the boot order by using the arrow keys to select "CD/DVD ROM" icon in the menu. The Toshiba will now boot from the recovery disc and restore the system. Follow any additional on-screen instructions.
