Question about Dell Latitude C840 Notebook
Can you try and type without your hand or palm connecting to the touchpad and see if its your palm that's causing it.

Mice are driven by the software. That is why i asked if you had tried another mouse confirming that it was not the mouse hardware since it did it on both. I believe the answer to be to either restore your computer to an earlier time(date) , when you had not the problem, or to reinstall your windows OS.

Ur latop mouse setting is gone faulty show to ur nearest service center..................proir try a optical mouse USBtype & check it is working fine or not............................Sameeraryan
