Question about 3G Technology GM-171B 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

1 Answer

I just unhooked the monitor to move it and must have reset the coloration somehow. Now it is way too green and I'm not sure how to simply reset it to the way it was.

After fiddling with the buttons for a bit, I found the factory reset. Thanks though.

In all probability, you've simply got a loose connector. Disconnect it from the computer and the power. Disconnect the video and power wire from the unit. Make sure they're clean. Connect everything back up. If that doesn't do it, we'll try something else.

LCD Dell Monitor displaying purple and green rather then picture.

sounds like your monitor is starting to go out. if there are any speakers near your monitor, it is likely magnetic interference. try moving your monitor to a different area and see if it still does this. if it does, i would replace the monitor. if it doesn't, just simply reorganize the area around your monitor and it should go away after degaussing the screen.

My lg monitor has turned green how to fix it

Hi there,

A common cause of a green screen is simply that the cable is not securely connected to the video card. Try to unplug the monitor cable from the back of the computer, and then plug it back in again and securing it with the thumb screws if possible. If that does not work, there may be a reset option in the monitor's configuration menu.

What make and model is your monitor?
Is it a solid green color? Does it change after a period of time being left on?

I had the same problem and I went to the first button on the monitor to the left(main menu) then with the button to the right (-) I scrolled down to factory reset. I also did the osd setting and I'm not sure what fixed it, but I havn't had the problem sence.

Help.. LCD colors

Reconnect your cables!  Somehow you don't have red and green in there, just shades of blue, right?  And it doesn't depend on whether you're running a browser or something else?

Make sure everything's tight and if you can (but only if tightening cables didn't work,) check that your computer's putting out a normal signal by testing another monitor with that computer.
