Fisher paykel will not start

Thanks for the info. I determined it was the door close switch, which it was, and I can tell from compartive experience that going in through the back panel is much easier than going in from the drawer. Another thing I learned is that FP parts are relatively inexpensive if ordered direct from FP through their 888-936-7872 number; an LCD panel was $65 which includes the shipping charges.
