Question about Dishwashers
I have a dishwasher from brand name IAG.
The manual has a trouble shooter that says if the LCD flashes 'E7' to call the service man. I rang the company and they told me that the flow diverter is normally the problem with when E7 is displayed. I have replaced this diverter and saw that the old one had burst at the seams with undisolved washing powder. So yes seems like it did need replacing.
However, after replacing and turnning it on to go through it's cycle it stopped again towards the end of the cycle and flashed 'E7' again at me. So does anyone know what the other parts of a dishwasher are that would be a problem and that would be creating this dishwasher to still think it has an error.
IAG also said that there is particular buttons that can allow it to self diagnose and tell you what are the problems.
Does anyone know what the buttons are that I push for the dishwasher to self diagnose?
Can anyone help me with diagrams of how dishwashers work inside?
I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

SOURCE: dishwasher not emptying
either the pump is not working or the discharge hose is clogged, if you have an air gap on the sink take the hose off and hold it down see if the water comes out by tself if so the pump is bad if not the drain is colgged take out the bottom tray you will need a 1/4 inch nut driver take the plastic screen cover plate off clear it of debris, there is a sharp metal blade in there so be careful, after cleaning it out turn on to rinse and see if it drains if not you will need to either replace the dishwasher or the pump, dollar for dollar new dishwasher time

There is a rather delicate mechanism which controls that soap door. Often this is the first part of a dishwasher to cause trouble. Instead of using the powdered detergent in the soap holder just pour the measured amount into the floor of the machine.
Once you have used up the powder, you might wish to consider a tablet which also just gets tossed.
