Iam having Sandisk sansa M240 MP3 player..I am facing some problems on that product...I cannot able to turn on the player..Even It cannot recogonised the drivers when i try to connect with my computer...Please provide response...
I am having the same issue. I loaded my M240 with music, then umpluged it from the USB cable. It didn't do the "building library" thing like it always does, and now when i turn it on it just loops from the "Sandisk" startup screen to the "Sansa initiallizing" screen. The same as you, when i connect it to the pc it isn't even recongnized and the player loops the "initiallizing" screen again. I put a request in to Sandisk last night, so i might have a solution for us later today.

- I've done alot of research on this isssue and call Sandisk customer support. They will walk you though some steps to try and recover you player, but more then likly they will have to replace the device. This is a wide spread problem with a few versions of firmware. If you can try to return it to the place you purchased it from. It is so wide spread that most retailers are exchaning the player if it is still under warrentee. But when you do get the new play, imidatly update the firmware with the latest version from Sandisk.com
Hope that helps.
