Make sure you have 3-5" of space all around, otherwise it keeps sucking its own hot air and reaches 'equilibrium' and won't get any colder. Ever

Call a technician. If you are unsure what a relay and start capacitor are there is no way you should be trying to test them. Stay safe!

Beverage air dd58 kegerator won't stay cold

The unit is probably low on gas again. If it lasts a month the leak may be difficult to find, as it may be a small leak. Those units don't hold a lot of gas. Have someone do a nitrogen leak check and fix the leak. If no leak is found, have them install a UV dye to help find the leak. :)

Beverage air cycling off/on

These units are not designed to run in temps much lower than 50 degrees. They have no winter controls and the freon pressures will take a nose dive when running in a cold ambient condition. The unit will not run well in a cold environment, compressor damage may result. :(

I have Marvel 6bar beverage refrigerator that suddenly stopped cooling- any suggestions on how to fix- I am trying to avoid paying a couple hundred dollars for repair thank you for your time

If light work but not running at all, then change the temp control (thermostat). If compressor and condenser fan motor are running but not cooling, then you have sealed system problem

I also have the same problem. Our Marvel 6BAR runs continuously until the beverages freeze. A technician came out and replaced the thermistor under warranty. It was a simple repair that anyone could do. This solved the problem for about another 18 months, but it has returned. I will now search for this part and do the repair myself. It only takes a few minutes to do.

Replacing the thermostat should correct the problem. Be sure to install the thermstat exactly as the one you are removing, assuming it hasn't been changed prior. Hope this helps
