Hi!!! You seem to have a problem with your water filling tube or your icemaker water valve..First get a dryer and aim it on the filling tube if it still makes no water then change your water valve shown here

You either have a bad ice maker or your water valve in the lower back of the unit is bad.

Gsh25sgpass ice maker not working, water leaking

The WR57X10051 Dual Water Control Valve located on the rear and near floor is the problem. Part location 800 in photo here=> GSH25SGPASS Component Parts Change out the WR57X10051 Dual Water Control Valve and this problem will be solved. When this valve wears they will begin to leak slowly causing a mess inside freezer and ice maker. If you have questions I will be here to answer them, Thanks Sea Breeze

ICE MAKER NOT WORKING LBC22518WW (LG REFRIGERATION)

Hello, just like your problem, our ice maker just stopped making ice. We solved the problem by unplugging the refrigerator for about 2 hours leaving the freezer door open.

It started making ice a few minutes after plugging it back in. Obviously the line that supplies the water had frozen and this allowed it to un-freeze.

We didn't remove any of the frozen items in the freezer, at the two hour mark, everything in the freezer was still mostly frozen.

Thanks

Water on floor under unit & ice bottom of freezer

By going online, saw several posts re this problem. In short, the water drain was clogged and there was also a problem with the defrost timer. Service man blew out the drain line with compressed air and installed a new timer. Voila! Problem fixed. Interestingly, the serviceman found a wad of what looked like putty, but was sticky like gum in the drain area. He said he had never encountered anything similar.

Side by side leaks out front door on freezer side

try checking the tube that water drains out , it could be plugged with crumbs or old partials of food and causing the problem, This has happened with my fridge at one time , affecting the defrost cycle of the freezer and dripping water out of the door, The tube was located under the crisper in the back of the inside of my fridge, Hope this solves your problem

Kenmore Coldspot w/Ice Maker Not Making Ice

hi LOP7,
In most cases you can easily solve this problem.
step one would be to make sure your freezer is getting cold enough. If you have icecream in your freezer is it frozen solid or is it soft. Most icemakers cycle around 0 degrees and if your freezer is not getting to 0 then it will not cycle and it will not make ice.
Step two would be to make sure you icemake is cycling. To do this simply lift the little shut off arm on your icemaker and wait about an hour then go back to the icemaker and drop the arm down. The icemaker should start going through a cycle. You should notice the arm slowly begin to raise and the ice dispencer fingers will begin to turn. Then you will hear it call for water. You may hear a humm.
If the freezer is cold enough and the icemaker is cycling that only leaves the inlet valve. replace the valve and enjoy the ice.
If the freezer is cold enought and the icemaker does not cycle, then you have a bad icemaker. Simply replace the icemaker and viola.
Third if the freezer is not cold enought 0 defrees. Then you may have a defrost problem. In this case post more info and I will be happy to help. Good luck mca0824@aol.com
