Although this isn't your model, you should be able to slide the rear half off to replace the batteries.

Exactly provided the information. Awesome solution. Highly appreciate that. Also say that we have to press the bottom button and open the top. Once again thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi , i got a question about the wireless optical mouse , just wondering if it's possible to open the top part (the cover i think) for cleaning purposes?

you can open it given that u know how to take it out and put it back without breaking it... and also i would say that u dont have to do it... it wont make much changes and also what will u clean inside a mouse??? there wont be much dust inside... probably u can clean the bottom part... for easy movement... and also if u open the mouse, the warranty (if u have one) will be tampered...

so all together i would suggest u not to open it.... :)

I own a Lenovo Mini Wireless Mouse (Model number N30). It has been working fine since the last 4 months I have owned it. However, I noticed today that the small light on the top of the mouse is blinking...

It's indeed the low batteries indicator. I have a Lenovo N30 myself.
I suggest you use a good pair of rechargeable AAA batteries.
They last longer than regular alkaline.
Best regards.

Hi, I've been using my Dynex wireless mouse for over a year. It now longer works. The batteries are new, the red light is on in the mouse, and I wonder if the receiver that I put in the USB drive isn't...

Something may have happened to break the connection between the mouse and the receiver. You can reset the connection by pressing the Connect button on the receiver. When the light on the receiver starts to flash, press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. The connection should be re-established and the light should stop flashing.

Replacing mouse batteries in wireless logitech mouse

Hi,

You may replace the batteries by removing the top cover that hides the batteries. The cover containing the logitech logo is the one that u need to slide towards yourself just like you do in case of a TV remote and this should show you the batteries inside the mouse, now you may replace the batteries just like you do in the case of a TV Remote.

Thanks & Regards,

"Normal" batteries are 1.5 Volts per "Cell" However Ni-Cads, rechargeables, each "Cell" is only 1.2 Volts. So the rechargeables simply may not work... If they do work, then there is NO reason why not.

My mouse doesn't work and I can't open thte back to put in a new battery, Help do I take it back to Argos where I bought it 6 months ago?

Hi christine321,

I just went the Argos website and looked at their terms and conditions regarding the returns and exchange policy and it states this:

"If you've had the product for up to 1 year, we'll repair the product or, if that's not possible, give you a replacement or, if that's not possible, a refund."

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/ReturnsAndRefunds.htm

So, according the the above, you can bring it back to the store and they will repair, exchange, or give you a refund. Coming from a person who has been in a national retail electronics store for close to five years, when it comes to something like a mouse, you have a 1 year manufacturer warranty. If you bring it back to the store, instead of sending it out for repair, they will most likely swap your mouse out for a new one and send your mouse back to the warehouse. I could be wrong though because each store is different.

Good luck and let me know how everything turns out,

Cordless v220

Take a look at this web site. Just click the link:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/3295&cl=us,en

Your battery may be dead.
Software for your mouse listed at this link:
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=us,en?selectedcrid=398&selectedcid=146

I do not have your v220 mouse so I'm unsure if you can replace it with a standard battery. Check it or exchange it from where you bought it.
Good Luck & kind Regards.
& please vote.
