Sound driver installation

I tried to install a driver i downloaded just recently from the net.unfortunately, the installation won't push thru because it said there is no audio chip installed on my mother board....i tried downloading a later version of the driver but with the same problem.... please...i need help

Assuming you got them from the link below, there are 2 bios versions, you may have the wrong, one, or your sound chip is damaged, if so either you will have to purchase a pci sound card or a new board.

Unfortunately, you are taking a chance installing windows 7 at this point, there is no support yet, and drivers may or may not work- no guarantees. I suggest that anyone trying windows 7 experiment on another partition first to test it out.

Sound driver i not get any sound frm my laptop built in sound


This is the best way to download the drivers of all your devices which are connected to the system for free.

You can download the Driver Magician from this link :

Download the reg key from this link :

then doule click & select ok.

Run the program and select update drivers, it will list the list of pdated drivers.

Select the drivers and select download drivers.

If it does not download just select the driver you need and at the bottom you would see a link,

Just copy that link and download from your browser or download manager, I use orbit downloader.

Try downloading Microsoft UAA drivers for Vista
Uninstall any sound drivers through device manager then install UAA drivers and reboot
Then update sound drivers through device manager. Will go on net and find and install them 90% of the time

Download Microsoft UAA driver then install it
Uninstall any sound driver first then
Go to device drivers and update your sound driver will go on net and find them and install them

Sound driver can not found

well check the BIOS setting that if it is onboard sound then it is enabled or not.
i recommend that you restore the default settings for setup utility.

Soundcard problem

If it is on board sound you probably need the M/soft UAA drivers
Go to the above site and download and install them
then go to device driver right click sound and upgrade them it will go on net to find and install them

i advise you to try and download driver magician from any torrent sites. if your lucky, youll see that and that will be a great help in locating your motherboards drivers.
