Can't pair my new Samsung Hands-Free speakerphone with my moto V9

I just got a Samsung HKT-450 hands-free speakerphone and have tried to pair it with my Motorola V9 cell phone. the instructions that came with the HKT450 said to enter "0000", didn't work. I tried 1234, 1111, 9999, still didn't work. I called Samsung, they said use "0000" or call Motorola, so I called Motorola & was told the same thing.....use "0000"

Can you help me?????

Thanking you in advance,
Bob

Most probably the hands free device is not in pairing mode. The way to put it in pairing mode is as follows:
- press the off button till the device is off
- hold the ON/OFF button for 6 seconds
- THE device shouLD be in pairing mode now and the red/blue lights will flash alternatingly.
- Now you can use your phone to serarch and enter "0000" .
- Then turn it off.
- Turn it on by holding the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds. Teh blue light will flash only (no red light flashing).

It finally paired for me after i held the talk switch on the hkt450, for about 20+ seconds. he password i used was 0000. once i saw the red and the blue lights alternating the pairing worked instantly, till then i was having the same problem as you mentioned.

Here's the answer> I tried and tried on different phones but nothing worked until I held down the MFB longer than the recommended 6 secs. You have to hold it down until you hear a beep from the speaker, then enter the passcode. Soon as I did this it worked flawlessly.

Thanks, your solution worked for me. The MFB need to be held down a bit longer even after the usual pairing tone is heard - until a single beep is heard.

I had same problem trying to pair using the steps listed in manual and in these other responses...while device was plugged into charger.

i did the same steps using code 0000, with device UNPLUGGED from charger and it paired successfully.

Sm-g31or5 want to pair with my 07 toyota solara convertible. phone says paired, but not car

Just had to pair for a friend few days ago, Toyou press setupota will pair to audio, but not hands free talk. Not sure exactly what buttons to push on your particular, so I would suggest read your car manual for "Hands Free Bluetooth" Pairing, not just audio pairing. On Toyota that I paired, after you press setup Bluetooth you will have to press "Phone Off" button on your steering wheel to get into hands free pairing, but check your manual to be sure.

I have a Samsung HKT 450 bluetooth, however, neither the passcode 0000 nor 1234 will pair it wiht my Iphone. Please help.

Remove the old device information from your iPhone, then reset your iPhone by pressing the square button and power button at the same time until it powers off, and comes back to the Apple logo screen. Once your iPhone powers on, put your Samsung bluetooth in pairing mode, and go into the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone and re-pair.

default pairing code is 1234.
Just search on your phone and select the parrot as your bluetooth device.
You can find a user guide for the parrot here.
