Question about Motorola Mobility MOTO W755 Cellular Phone

Phone wont stay on

Recently i sent my phone (Motorola MOTO™ W755) thorugh the washing machine on accident and it stopped working. I got a new one (same model) at my local verizon store and it worked for a while but now it wont turn on unless it is constantly hooked up to a power source. even when it is hooked up it will freeze every few minutes and then it won't unfreeze until i unplug it and plug it back in. The front screen has stopped working entirely aswell. sometimes the main screen will come on but i cant do anything with it no matter what buttons i press. i probably need a new phone but i'd like to avoid that if possible. any suggestions? thanks

Well your screen problem could be due to some frozen LED's or simply fauly wiring. Did you get this phone used by any chance? If so the store may not replace it. Back to the solution, take out the back battery and you should see 4 screws holding in the outer body of the phone in place with its inside. take these screws off andd carefully remove the outer shell. it you see a blown bulb, this is your problem and it cannot usually be replaced unless you order a whole new circuit switch which you most likely will have to install yourself. otherwise, there may be a loose chip. try snapping it back into place (not too hard or the motherboard may split). replace the outer body and try the phone again. as for the phone only staying ion while plugged in, this is most likley a broken battery. this can only be fixed by replacment. hope this helps.
