Re: help no connection

Check the cabling. Could possibly be a broken pair in the cable. Make sure all ends are not damaged.

Re: help no connection

Hi, It could possibly be faulty, maybe caused by an electric surge. Also, Check that the power adapter is a good one or moreso, the correct one. But it could also just require a reset and reconfiguring. Try that and see if it helps. Thanks, Lolita

I have lost my password dlink switch 3024 dws please how to reset my switch

Uness you manually changed this, the default is to put "admin" in the username field, and leave the password field blank. Then hit Enter. That should get you in.

If you did change it, call the D-Link hot line, and ask them for help. It usually involves holding in the reset button and powering off then on but holding the button in for more than 30 seconds when you power it back on again. That generally resets it to the default.

Link/act LED of DES-1024D switch

The ethernet cable is probably damaged. If it is not... is the switch plugged in? Does it power on? Is the other end of the ethernet cable plugged into a live host?

Reset speed from 10Mbps on 100Mbps (D-Link DE-1824i)

Tony,  I was looking at the specs and found these lines :- Choices of 12 and 24 10BASE-T ports per hub
1 100BASE-TX port (for connection to 100BASE-TX hubs) Which is saying that the user/pc ports are fixed 10Mps and there is one 100Mbps uplink port to connect two hubs together.

Slow lan (file transfert) with zyxel ES116P and HP ML150 server

Try forcing the ports that the server connects to on the switch to 100Mb Full duplex, sometimes one side negotiates incorrectly, and the switch can set itself to half duplex, even though the other end is set to full duplex.
