Hope you have not held green button or your renotes will bew erased. Push green button for one second. Go to keypad. Enter 4 digit code and hit ENTER. Bulb on motor should blink. That's it.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

I don't know this model. (in australia). the chamberlains here are probably the same. the 4 digit code you first put in the keypad is what you have to use. push the learn button on your operator then punch in your 4 digit No. Hold the enter button on your keypad until the light flashes on the operator.
That should code it in.

If your battery is good and you have followed the instructions for changing it then your keypad is bad. The instructions for changing the code is the same as resetting it.

If you have the 3 button wall control press and hold the button with the lock icon for 3 seconds.

You must hold that red button in for 6 seconds to erase the memory. Just remember you will have to program your hand remotes plus the wireless keypad.

Deprogram an old code...

To do this you must hold the smart/learn button in for 6 seconds. This will erase the memory of the receiver and you will have to program your remotes plus the keypad.

pushed it too long. push 1 second and recode keypad. you wiped out codes by hitting for 6 seconds or more

Garage door key pad

For most openers you don't need the old code.

Just press the program button on the powerhead enter the code you want in the keypad and press enter (within 20 seconds).
