Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player
Hi, Please, explane , how to delete songs from my mp3 player ( sansa e260) Thanks
This MIGHT fix the problem: Make sure that Windows Explorer is set to show hidden files and folders. In Windows XP, click TOOLS, FOLDER OPTIONS, VIEW and make sure you have selected "Show hidden files and folders".

Another way is to connect it to your computer and start up Rhapsody to edit your music files. btw, when i try Mike L's solution, i don't see any files for music. only vids, pics, mic. recorded files, etc.

Hey CatAngel. In order to delete songs off your MP3 you have to connect to your PC with the supplied cable. Once your PC has recognized the player is connected, Click "Start", "My Computer", double click on the "Sansa" drive and all your songs should be listed. Here is where you can click on the songs you want to delete. To delete... right click on the song and select delete or left click on the song so it is highlighted and then click on "file", "delete" . If you want to select more than one song you can click on one song and then click on another song while holding the shift key and all the songs in between will be highlighted and can be deleted all at once. If you want to select more than one song but they are not in order, click each song while holding the "Ctrl" (Control) key. Once all desired songs are selected.... "File", "Delete" that should do it.
