If a password has been set then you might be in trouble. Can you access the programming areas at all? You may be able to print out the programming contents to find the password (depending upon brand and model)

Hi Francis. This is a powerful machine with a large amount of settings. Did your dealer show you how to run through the program modes? Pricing is done in Prog 1. If you are changing the prices on the flat keyboard, you want to go into PLU settings and there is an option for price changes. You really need to become familiar with the menu system if you are going to perform menu changes yourself. See how you get on.

Model number?

Yes, u need to do it in PGM3 to change price for scanning PLU. The PGM1 is for Normal PLU price change.

Of course , u can use Casio CV-10 software to do the price change too.

to change the prices on the preset buttons.
1. turn key to PGM mode
2. press 1
3. press sub total button
4.enter price( no decimals req)
5.press relevant dept button
6.press sub total button
the new price will now be programmed in.

All the settings require different codes. What did you want to change, price, tax status etc?

You can't select a level 2 without doint level 1 as well, they get programmed together so program level 1 first, then enter level 2 and finish the procedure as you would finish the level 1. Hope this helps.
