Re: how do i locate and replace the blower motor on #...
Not sure if you have fixed the problem. There is a web site to get this motor... www.arnoldservice .com he should have the motor. I recomend a generic 3 speed mtr. you will have to cut the plug on the original as it may be a 4 speed but you only need 3 speeds. The oem motor will be more expensive then an aftermarket.

to clean the blower assembly requires a partial dismantle of the unit and is a job for professional ac cleaners / technicians
It could be a problem in the motor itself or gears associated that move the air blades for flow direction
IN any case a technician who can also clean the blower could advise you on what the problem is/ best way to fix or the options to replace it for a more efficient, cheaper to run system
Need to pull the unit out of the sleeve to access the motor and fan. the fan is located in the front under the evaporator coil. Difficult to replace but can be done. Just need to nvestigate and figure out how to do it. Search for a parts diagram on the Internet for the model of the unit and it will show you where the motor is located and the parts around it.
yes, most smaller window units have both outdoor and indoor cages connected to a single motor in the middle of the 2 blower wheels and are completely seperate from the compressor and it associated parts
You need to check the wiring to the limits and safety devices with are in a number of locations, make sure all connections are tight. The most common cause for the blower to run is the high limit device which is the one mounted above the burners on the flat metal panel with two wires.
The blower motor on a 99 Saturn sl2 is located on the lower right side of the dash, below the glove box. To remove it is not so hard. Simply disconnect the blower motor connector (squeeze the lock on the end and pull, this may give you a little trouble) remove the blower motor screws (there may be three or four symmetrically located on what looks like a cover, then lower the blower motor straight down. Hope this helps.
Hello, if this is a electronic ignition Furnace the relay is located on the intergrated control board. The only problem is that you cannot replace only the relay on those boards, the whole board must be replaced.
When you changed the motor, did you change the capacitor? If the motor hums, but doesn't run, the capacitor may be the problem. Also, about a week or so ago, I changed a furnace blower and capacitor only to have it shut down again after 2 days. I talked with the vendor, and they told me that they had received a "bad batch of motors" and replaced the one that I had purchased. If you didn't replace the capacitor, you should, then I would suspect the motor.
Remove the fresh air hose from the back of the blower. Turn the blower fan with you finger or something to see if it turns easily. If it doesn't, then there may be an obstruction. If no problem there, check the wiring for the blower motor. I have replaced the bearing closest to the fan on these type of blowers and got them to work. The bearing close to the speed sensor can't be changed because you can't get the sensor off. If none of this fixes it then you will have to replace the blower motor.
2 things could be the problem 1 The blower motor capacitor has one out. This is a small oval or round piece that the wiring to the blower motor is attached if this is out the blower motor will not work. 2nd. the blower motor itself has burnt out. Replace the capacitor and the motor together should you have to change out the motor. Good luck hope this helps
