Question about Nikon FA 35mm SLR Camera
Nikon FA advance lever will not advance. Meter will not give reading. Fresh batteries installed. Meter only flashes "+F32" when turning the aperture dial on lens. Camera works fine on M and bulb settings.
Nikon Fa advance lever loose.
Not used camera for a few years and set to M250 mode due to not having batteries, Advanced lever once to test, advanced one, then pulled lever back for another test.
Lever then feels lifeless and has no resistance to being moved. it will not take a picture even with batteries. any Idea what the problem is?

The capacitor is bad or the circut has a fault somewhere. You will need to take it to a camera tech or just use it in the manual moide only
