Hey Nick, to force your washer to drain is really easy. You will need a bucket and some extra towels. Simply remove the drain hose from the house drain pipe and lower into the bucket. If your bucket fills up, simply raise the hose above the level of the washing machine and the water flow will cease. Please reconnect with us if you do need any further assistance. Best Regards,
There is a coupling between the motor and the pump and this has finally worn out... on some models the pump is belt driven and the belt could be bad... on some models the pump is seperate from the drive motor and has its own motor just for the pump...this could be running but the pump part could be bad...nearly all machines will allow the water to drain out if you just lower the drain hose lower than the tub...try letting the water drain into a small bucket and then see if it wil spin...it should spin once the water is drained out but you will have to keep the drain hose in the bucket lower than the tub through the spin cycle....this should work and allow you to get all the water out of your machine....dont use it any more....get it repaired by a washing machine maintenance person
more than likely the pump needs replacing, first of all remove the outlet drain hose from the the place it discharges and lower it into a bucket, this should allow it to syphon away, you may need to empyt the bucket a few times once the machine is empty you should be able to put it on its spin cycle once it has spun locate and remove the filter to remove any objects or lint, fill machine with warm water and try to drain and spin via the programme,if this do not work fit a new pump
check for a faulty door/lid switch. can oyo uhearit click when the lid is closed??? your probalby causing a syphin action when lowering the drain hose in to the bucket. so i probably wouldnt pay mind to that
