Question about Computers & Internet
I have a laptop I want to use. How do I install the router with Hughesnet?
You did not mention which router you are trying to hook up with the Hughesnet Modem otherwise I would've given you a toll free number for the tech support.
Anyways, any kinda router would connect to the Hughesnet Modem.
Make sure that when your computer is directly connected to the Modem then you are able to go online.
Then for a general router connection you can refer to this link How to connect a Router

First, you can try to install the router by using the setup CD that came with it. It will guide you through the process of installing the router.
