Question about T-Mobile Sidekick II
Hey , One day my sidekick 2 just started losing service very frequently. It would kick me off and take minutes to get service back. Then it kept going and coming more than usual, then one nigth it i lost all service and it never came back. Even after a whole day I called tmobile and they said it was an issue with the wireless built it that it needed to be repaired. Is there any way I can repair this myself, if anyone knows please reply. I called to get an estimate and they said it can be upto $75. now thats a lot of money so im looking for a cheaper alternative. Thanks.
If it is a wireless problem, the cause could be from neighbours who have wireless networks that they have set up, with alot of phones/computer networks using the same channel the seting your phone may be using could cause a conflict with other networks. I dont know this item myself, but check if you can change the channel settings for the wireless section. this could solve your problem. Best Wishes

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Tips for a great answer:
Warning : Do not enter
any wrong unlock codes on your Sidekick 2 mobile phones. If you enter
over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Sidekick 2 mobile
phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1. Switch ON your Sidekick 2 with a Not ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2. If your Sidekick 2 asks for a PIN code, then enter your SIM card PIN and press OK.
3. Sidekick 2 will ask to enter an "unlock code".
4. Enter Unlock Code we send to you.
5. Your Sidekick 2 is now unlocked.
*NOT ACCEPTED : We mean, to use a Sim card from a network other than the network your Sidekick 2 is locked to.
