If the coffee brews hot then the problem is a blockage on the steam valve nozzle or line. Try removing steam wand and opening valve to see if it works, if it does the problem is in the wand that has been removed. Dismantle parnello and using a paperclip clear out the hole in the end of the steam wand.

Where is pinhole on frothing wand classic gaggia machine

IT IS INSIDE THE INJECTOR ASSEMBLY. IF STEAM DOES NOT COME OUT THE ACTUAL STEAM TUBE THEN ITS CONTROL VALVE OPERATED BY THE ROTATING KNOB IS CLOGGED. REPLACE THE VALVE IF DESCALING WOULD NOT CLEAR OF THE INTERNAL ORIFICES.

Frothing attachment coming off from pressure

Check the holes in the attachment they might be blocked and the pressure of the steam is blowing it off.

1: do you pres the switch for steam and wait until it is ready? 2: how long time machine needs to be ready for steaming?
solution 1 = if you don't press the steam switch on you will have very small amount of steam. solution 2 = if the machine gets ready only for few seconds to steam, than you must change your steaming thermostat attached in boiler(there are 3 of them: 1 security 2 coffee brewing 3 steam
i hope you fix it soon and enjoy in perfect espresso

The water coming out of the steam nozzle is clear but fromthe brew head it is milky looking. I have descaled

That's ok .
The water from the steam nozzle is straight from a boiler.
Where as the brew head is fed from another boiler via the brew unit,so you will still have some coffee in the system.
If you wanted to you can rinse the brew head by making preground coffee without coffee this will flush it clean.

Gaggia classic -no steam from spout

I had almost the exact same thing. The fuse for your frother is out. If both the frother and the brew head won't heat, then it is your Thermal Fuse. There are two different fuses inside the machine. Take the top off, and find both fuses. Take a piece of wire and connect it to each end of the fuse. Now turn the power on. If it heats, then that is the fuse. If no results, try the other fuse. Either fuse should be cheap. My thermal fuse was $1.98. Good luck!
