My mic hook got broke off inside the port and i had to tear up the controller to get the broken peice out.So now the controller port is ripped out and all that there is now is two metal bars where the mic should go

You should probably just send it. They will end up sending you a new one. You poking around in there, you might end up frying the port instead of fixing it. There won't be a diagram because it's a proprietary board. I could figure it out if I had it in front of me, but obviously it's not.
Does the controller light up when plugged in? If so an previous update may have messed it up. If not it could be the controller or the usb port. Try another USB port or another controller. If neither one of those solutions work. Try to delete the previous update, and reupdate the console. Most likely it is the controller or the usb port is broken.
Hi, i think ur number 1 is configured for wireless functionality. So it will not work when the wire is connected. Try configuring the mic to work when the wire is connected as well. There should be a setting for it in the mic software. It should work after that
Yeah I foudn the problem. I just found out one of the wires was broken inside, right above where the controler meets the wire. It was a grayish wire, probably the one that turns it on. No wonder it would only turn on if the wire was in a certain position, it was connecting the wires! Problem solved.
