You know, I have a 2710 hp wireless AIO, and it is really crappy wireless. As far as the "detailed" manual says, you can connect wirelessly via an ad-hoc, or one to one mode. But this knocks out you're current wireless network. Example, I can't print and surf with Ad-hoc. You should however be able to connect to the wireless network though. I can with mine. But only if it isn't secure. Anyhow, look online for hp's utilities, or maybe something thats already in your programs.

I dont think you have the network set up in the correct way. You should be using a wireless router. If it is a 4 port router, your computer network cable should be in port number 1, the printer can be be wireless or cabled into port 2 of the router. This way you have the internet and can still print wirelessly to the printer and so can anyone else.

I have a new HP laptop and want to install my printer. I have a pixma MP150 All in one. Will it work on a wireless laptop?

The printer does not have a wireless network feature. If you connect it to a wireless print server, you will need to check if the print server is compatible with your laptop's OS. (If you have Win7 on all computers, the homegroup should let you share the printer via your network.) If you use one of the network options, the scanner may only work with a direct USB connection.

It will work with any supported OS with a USB connection. Drivers are available here: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/printers_multifunction/pixma_mp_series/pixma_mp150#DriversAndSoftware . Install the software before attaching the data cable. If you forget, the scanner features may not work (a generic driver gets installed). If you do install the generic driver, uninstall it and then unplug the data cable before rebooting and installing the Canon driver.

I hope this helps.

IN the case of the Mac what I have had to do in the past was shut down the other laptops and computers, delete the printer program from the Mac and start over. During the setup of the printer make sure nothing is connected to the printer. Only connect what you are instructed to at the appropriate time. It will eventually ask you how you are going to connect to the printer from that particular printer, answer ethernet cable and attach the ethernat cable to the printer from your router, make sure your laptop is connected to the router with an ethernet cable. Always set your computer up to the printer vis a hard line, then onve it is done you can swap over to a wireless setup. Once the setup is complete and a test print is accomplished bia ethernet cable, then disconnect the cable from the laptop to the router. Once you are connected to the network wirelessly, attempt another test page, you have already set the printer up at this point to be your default printing device so the laptop will find the printer on the network and initiate it. You may have to watch close for a pop up window asking to allow the connection or access to the program. Maybe think about dropping the firewall temporarily until the connection is secure.

HP P2015dn wirless connection stopped working

Hi,
There is not wireless netwrok card is HP LJ P2015dn, However as i can understand you r using External Wireless Router or Wireless network or jet-direct card if u r able to work fine on USB than printer printing mechanism is working fine.
If u connect the printer via wired network connection and it keeps on loosing IP address than it may be problem with onboard network card of the printer.
If printer keeps on loosing IP Address than try upgrading the firmware of the printer.
To check the firmware and IP Address of the printer print a configuration page by pressing and holding down green button for 6 to 7 seconds

Wireless Network for my laptop

You must purchase a wireless router. I recommend Linksys. If your laptop has ethernet capabilities this will work just fine. (ethernet ports look like oversized phone cord ports) they are very simple to use and install in minutes. just be sure to make sure your network is password locked!
If this helps, I would really appreciate a FixYa! rating. If not, do not hesitate to contact me. I own a linksys wireless router, and can help you install it, if need be. Have a good day!

I think I have solved this, any way it worked for me.

Restarted printer make sure wireless settings are installed in printer then restart router.Once router is up and running switch on computer and you should be able to print.
Hope this works for you.
